Need tech help in a flash? Try Fiverr.
Hopefully, you’re old enough to remember our article on Upwork. Today we’ll be covering Fiverr, a similar platform with a stronger tech bent. Where Upwork focuses on a fairly wide range of business fields, Fiverr specializes in Digital Services. The platform’s main functional areas are: Graphics & Design, AI Services, Digital Marketing, Translation, Video & Animation, Music & Audio, and Programming & Tech. Like we said, techy.
If your vision requires a digital component (and most do), Fiverr probably has the right freelancer for you. If you’re specifically looking for help in any of the seven project areas we listed above, considering checking Fiverr first.
Oh, and a quick word up front for our international Triumph audience (hello to our friends in Helsinki). Fiverr also allows users to conduct business in different global currencies.
So, even if you’re an online clothing brand in Lubbock, Texas hiring a coding expert from Singapore, Fiverr will help you get the money where it needs to go. Ours is a global economy, so let the melting pot of cultures inspire you to new heights:
The Fiverr hiring procedure is similar to those already laid out in our other Get Help series articles, but we still want to take a moment to unpack them. Behold, the Fiverr Five:
1) Search
Browse Fiverr’s vast online freelancer library to find the extra hand you need. It’s kind of like online dating, but way more lucrative.
2) Choose
Request work samples & interview candidates until you’re confident you’ve found the right match. Then it’s time to gameplan.
3) Get Specific
Let your freelancer know exactly what you’re expecting from the relationship. Don’t be afraid to dream big. These guys are pros. They should be able to make it happen.
4) Place an Order
Lock in the deal so you can get back to doing whatever it is you do best. Rest assured, the Fiverr freelancer will be hard at work knocking your project out of the park.
5) Delivery
Everyone’s favorite part: the deliverable. A final draft of your project will be sent directly to your inbox. Once you give the final stamp of approval, it’s a done deal and yours to keep. Boom, mission accomplished. Now onto the next adventure.
What of the fees?
Now, we know that list left out a fairly big concern—money—but fear not, we haven’t forgotten about the dollars and cents. We just wanted to cover the Benjamins in their own section.
Fiverr goes to great lengths to make the payment process as painless as possible. The platform allows users to set a structured project outline and price upfront, cutting down on unnecessary haggling. If you like haggling however, our old friend Upwork does leave some more room for negotiation. But, if you lack time or interest in bargaining, Fiverr may simplify your life.
You can also be confident that you won’t pay for content you didn’t ask for—or for deliverables that aren’t delivered. Payment isn’t released until you approve the final product, so you’ll also be able to request tweaks and edits.
But I want it now
That said, maybe you’re really in a jam and need help—well—now. Those are the times you can lean on Fiverr’s express option and request a deliverable within 24 hours. You may have to pay a little bit extra for the rushed delivery, but you’ll have a kick-butt product in your hand before your boss even has time to get mad. Sounds like a fair trade to us.
Sending out an SOS
If you run into any issues along the way, Fiverr also hosts an enormous customer service team. Whether you have a question about how to find the best help, or are running into issues on an ongoing project, Fiverr’s team is happy to assist.
Fee, Fi, Foe, Fiverr
Digital services are an integral part of any modern business or creative endeavor. Make your life easier, and allow yourself to focus on what you’re best at, by leaning on Fiverr. Allow their team of experts to free you up to work on things you actually enjoy (and where your talent is best used).
